About RedHook
RedHook emerged from the Brooklyn underground in the early 2010s with a sound that split the difference between post-punk revival and indie rock angst. Their self-titled debut caught ears with sharp guitar work and deadpan vocals that refused to wink at the audience. Tracks like Concrete Dreams and Neon Nights established their thing: driving rhythms underneath introspective lyrics about urban malaise and the specific loneliness of living in overpacked cities.
