About Journey

Journey formed in San Francisco in 1973 as a prog-rock fusion band before pivoting to stadium rock in the late 70s. They hit their commercial peak in the 1980s with Steve Perry's soaring vocals anchoring albums like Escape and Frontiers. Don't Stop Believin' became an inescapable anthem—the kind of song that transcends its era and shows up at weddings, sports events, and karaoke bars forever.
