About Common People

Pulp were a British rock band that carved out space in the 1990s by being genuinely weird about being ordinary. Led by Jarvis Cocker's distinctive vocals and distinctive persona, they made songs about council estates, cheap thrills, and the specific anxieties of feeling stuck in provincial Britain.
