Live Music in Stamford

Stamford's music scene is fairly spread out—you've got the standard venues pulling touring acts, but it's not exactly a hardcore stronghold like some of the nearby Connecticut cities. Book a table at Ocean 211 for honest seafood that doesn't try too hard. If you want something more casual, Brasitas does excellent Brazilian fare without the scene. Before or after the show, walk along the waterfront—the Stamford Harbor area is genuinely pleasant for an evening stroll, and there's a small constellation of bars and coffee spots that feel like they belong to actual residents. The Stamford Museum and Nature Preserve is solid if you need daylight activities.
