Their music trades in distorted synths, blown-out vocals, and rhythms that feel like they're coming apart at the seams, but there's a weird pop sensibility underneath all that noise—songs like 'Cheap Perfume' and 'Velvet Hammer' have hooks buried under layers of digital decay. They've built a small devoted following among people who appreciate music that doesn't apologize for being difficult or pretty. The project touches on themes of excess, decay, and the seedy underbelly of modern life, though they're not interested in being preachy about it. It's more textural than conceptual—they're more interested in how something sounds than what it means.
