About B2k
B2K was the late-90s/early-2000s R&B boy band that actually had staying power beyond the usual manufactured run. Formed in 1998, the group—Omarion, Fizz, J-Boog, and Raz-B—hit their stride with their second album, which spawned "Bump, Bump, Bump," a track that became unavoidable for like three years straight. That song alone defined a specific moment in pop radio, but they weren't just a one-hit situation. They made solid R&B records with actual songs underneath the hits, toured relentlessly, and built a fanbase that actually stayed invested. Their catalog holds up better than you'd expect from a boy band product, partly because they could sing and partly because they caught a wave where throwback-leaning R&B actually dominated mainstream radio. They've reunited periodically since their initial breakup in 2004, which tells you something about how they're remembered.
Known for Bump, Bump, Bump, Girlfriend, Why I Love You, Uh Huh, Cradle 2 The Grave

Live Music in Miami
Miami's music DNA runs deep through hip-hop, reggaeton, and R&B — genres that B2K operated in the margins of, doing their own thing in the early 2000s. The city's always been about that rhythm-first mentality, whether it's UGK influence, dancehall, or the local bounce scene. B2K's brand of teen R&B and pop harmony has nostalgia working in its favor here, where people remember exactly where they were when these songs played.
Miami road trip to see B2k?
Stay in Wynwood if you want walkable energy—the neighborhood's shifted from pure arts district into something with real restaurants and bars. Hit up Juvia for dinner: it's the kind of place that doesn't feel like it's trying too hard, with actual good food across Latin, Asian, and Peruvian influences. Spend the day at Vizcaya Museum before the show—the grounds are genuinely beautiful and give you that old Miami feeling without the tourist trap vibe. Then catch the show and actually enjoy the city instead of just passing through it.
