About B2k
B2K was the late-90s/early-2000s R&B boy band that actually had staying power beyond the usual manufactured run. Formed in 1998, the group—Omarion, Fizz, J-Boog, and Raz-B—hit their stride with their second album, which spawned "Bump, Bump, Bump," a track that became unavoidable for like three years straight. That song alone defined a specific moment in pop radio, but they weren't just a one-hit situation. They made solid R&B records with actual songs underneath the hits, toured relentlessly, and built a fanbase that actually stayed invested. Their catalog holds up better than you'd expect from a boy band product, partly because they could sing and partly because they caught a wave where throwback-leaning R&B actually dominated mainstream radio. They've reunited periodically since their initial breakup in 2004, which tells you something about how they're remembered.
Known for Bump, Bump, Bump, Girlfriend, Why I Love You, Uh Huh, Cradle 2 The Grave

Live Music in Cincinnati
Cincinnati's got a solid lineage with R&B and hip-hop, from the underground boom-bap crews to more recent acts. The city's music venues have been leaning into throwback nights and reunion tours, so B2K slots in naturally with that appetite. There's real demand here for artists who defined a specific era without overstaying their welcome.
Cincinnati road trip to see B2k?
Stay in Hyde Park, Cincinnati's most elegant neighborhood, with tree-lined streets and restored Victorian homes. Dinner at The Eagle—a fine dining spot that takes Southern cooking seriously—pairs well with Stapleton's sensibility. Spend your afternoon at the Cincinnati Art Museum or walking the grounds at Spring Grove Cemetery, one of America's most beautiful cemeteries. Both offer quiet reflection before heading to the show. If you have time, catch the view from Skyline Chili's main location; the city panorama is worth the detour, even if the food is divisive.
